I use a Digitech JamMan looper. The wav fidelity is great, but after less than a month I noted some real stupid design limitations.

What is your looper of choice, if you use one?

I use the Boss RC-20XL. It works well for what it does, and is built like a tank except one of the knobs fell off after a couple of years. I mostly do pretty straightforward single-channel loops for now, so this works great.

The Looperlative looks really impressive, although it is of course much more expensive:

I use the Looperlative LP1... 8 stereo tracks, three outputs: main, auxiliary 1 and auxiliary 2. MIDI in, out and thru, and ethernet.. tracks may be synchronized or not... can synch to an external MIDI clock... can generate a MIDI clock... sampling rate is 44.1 kHz, audio from each track can be exported/imported to/from a computer through the network interface. audio is stored in 32-bit, and sampled at 24-bits... track manipulation includes, but is not limited to: recording, muting, overdubbing, reversing, speed changing, scrambling, and bouncing output to new tracks.

The software is being continually updated, with new features being added, and updates are available over the internet..

    peace
